Howard mould count should not exceed 40% when using a diluted solution of 8% tomato solids prepared from tomato paste.
Pesticide residue shall not exceed limits set by codex code.
Tomato paste content of heavy metals shall not exceed the following limits.
Lead 1.50 ppm.
Tin 10.00 ppm.
Copper 10.00 ppm.
Arsenic 1.00 ppm.
Zinc 19.00 ppm.
Tomato paste should be free from any Alfa or Beta radiation particles, americium 241, plutonium 238 and 239, strontium 90.
Cesium i34 & 137 must not exceed 30 Becquerel (bq).
